horror movies are destructive to the mind/soul, I refuse to watch them. The reason young people laugh is an attempt to avoid the bad impression, but it gets there anyway, as this strip shows. There can be tension and threat in a film without the need to adversely affect the audience. why give yourself bad dreams? You have to wonder at the source of the ideas portrayed (,even if it is “just” actors on a set). Movies, which is escapism makes you realise there’s places you don’t want to escape to, so why go there.
maybe when this was originally drawn seat spaceing was greater, but these days there’s no way you would see any legs. even on a wing exit row (where minors are not allowed anyway), you are seeing through at least one seat to get the framing for that last panel.
are you sure it’s not just coming out of BST (our clocks changed back 1 hr due to that). maybe your clock is from UK not FL
