How far back do you think the prevention of ‘illegal immigration’ should be applied? A Week? A month? A year? A decade? A Century? A millennium? How & why did you choose that time frame?
Because when your elected officials institutionalize bigotry in guise of law and your citizenry celebrates, you have just categorized your electorate as inbred, ignorant, intolerant [whatever color they happen to be] trash.
Except that even if one naively assumes that voter fraud, political disinformation, and overt corruption do not negate the significance of individual suffrage, unless you happen to be an oil company, a defense contractor, a Pharma giant, or a bank, ‘your people’ are not politically viable much less on the ballot.
It is also the Tea Party that is in large part financed by the Koch brothers . . .
