I remember the moment I came to the realization that Santa didn’t exist. Adults seem to think kids then don’t trust their parents after, but the fact is…I didn’t think that. I just realized he didn’t exist without thinking of my parents as liars. Let children imagine, as they will. Are you going to track down all the “imaginative” elements of a childs life and protect them from them? Are you going to keep the child from imagining? I think thats worse than letting them learn it on their own.
