   You don ’t know what you are writing. I just received a notice from the Secretary of State that ballots will be mailed to everyone, not applications, they are the ballots.

   No. They are not. Absentee ballots must be requested, mail-in ballots are sent out to every voter regardless if they even exist.

   Mail-in ballots and absentee voting are NOT the same. Absentee ballots are requested by each individual voter and require the person to do something to get one. Mail-in ballots are sent to every voter on the voting rolls regardless of their desire to have one, if they are still at that address or even alive. There are millions of voters who have moved to a new address in their state, moved to another state and are registered there or are dead.

   The 4th amendment is about privacy FROM unreasonable searches and seizures, not the privacy of a person TO take actions. Additionally, it does not give privacy to a person against any and all searches and seizures. It only protects against UNREASONABLE searches and seizures and only ones done by the government.There is no right to privacy for a person to take an action, to do something. The only privacy protection is against the government that would take an “unreasonable” action against a person. Read the 4th amendment.

   Most important, it does not protect any action a person takes. Personal actions are not protected by any right to privacy. Do I have a right to privacy to molest children? Torture animals? as long as I do it in private? Here is the 4th Amendment for anyone who wants the complete amendment.

   “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
