You site examples (correctly imo) of sacrifice for the greater good, I would add that they volunteered themselves to the greater good. Others did not decide for them as “Allgood” is for our three friends. Self sacrifice is the key. I volunteered, I served, I was injured, I saved many. That is the difference.
