Yes Ray. David and I created all the Jumble games at GoComics and Shockwave. David has created a good number of other games on the Daily word game section of Shockwave. I am glad there are so many fans of the Jumble here. When I think about the fact that DT started in 1931 and the Jumble in 1954, wow! Those are two big time icons that I feel Tribune has done a pretty good job finding the capable hands to take the reigns of (if I do say so myself). Having the ability to create all those new jumble games for online, iphones, toy store, books etc.. is one of the things that David and I brought to the Jumble when we each took our spots. Doing things like the DT crossover is one of those ideas we were very happy that we were able to do and hope to do more fun things with the Jumble. I love the new DT team’s looks and stories and anxiously await what comes next and to join you all here. You can talk to us at our facebook page if you have any more comments or questions. facebook.com/jumble LAL HET SEBT!
Relax the cynicism. TMS doesn’t have anything to do with DT story lines and or Jumbles. We thought it would be fun to talk and combine our features. Our editors agreed. Whether you liked the story or the Jumbles is your problem. We all love what we do and wanted to have some fun.
That’s funny. I’m a frustrated comic-loving thief who wanted to own a Scottie. Maybe we can work something out? And what police department building allows smoking nowadays?
Thanks MJ! It was my honor. I’ve done a few Jumbles that cover that part of my life including one for the Kidney Foundation for Organ Donation Awareness month (or weeK).
MJ, I’ve been the cartoonist for over 5 years now. Your description of Henri Arnold is pretty spot on. Different people attack the puzzle in different ways. Yours is very common. Thanks for Jumbling!
MJ, it been around since 1954. And I’m only th second artist in tht time to draw the cartoon. Sme people find it easy, some find it difficult. It’s always a fine line for us to decide how difficult to make it. We’re in over 600 newspapers with a circulation of over 60,000,000. We love are players nd love seeing how passionate you all are for DT.
