Ah! That was one of my complaints about the Beta. Frankly, it’s not so bad. My Comics is still a one page list, so I’m happy with it. It’s not better than the previous version though.
Along the Gulf Coast, we bring the tender ones in on nights when it is going to freeze and put them back out the next day when it warms back up. Most years, I haul potted plants into and out of the carport a dozen times during the winter. When it gets really cold they actually make into the house for a few days.
“No tip for you.”If you want to get the wait staff’s attention, you don’t leave no tip, you leave the smallest tip possible…1 penny. No tip, could mean the customer forgot or is a jerk, 1 penny can only mean they remembered and that’s what they thought of your service.
That makes sense, but the angle of the sunset gives me a bit of a pause. Gus was looking due west, which argues for the west coast of Florida. If it’s along the northern gulf coast the sunset would be southwest in relation to the coast line. Of course, local geography of bays and inlets could make it work anywhere along the MS, AL, FL coast.
Going down to Electric Avenue! LOL! Nah! It’s got to be something else…um, Solar Farms? Windy City? :)
