Matthew Davis: yeah, I spent some time going through the archived strips and was really impressed by how broad Jimmy Johnson’s reach used to be. It kind of reminds me of what happened to “Get Fuzzy” only Johnson is still working- just on a smaller scale- and Darby Conley’s strip kept shrinking away until he just kind of gave up. I think it goes to show just how difficult writing a daily strip is
