On the “where’s his cane” – wait ’til you hit 85 and then ask the question again. It may not be necessary for the cane – one just needs to step higher then when you were 1/2 your age to avoid tripping
In general, our precious doggies & kitties are with us too little time. My precious kitty, Rosie was a rescue that had a problem keeping her weight. I moved her into my man cave and we spent several years while I nursed her back to health – the other kitties were eating their food and then took Rosie’s food
As the years passed her health declined ‘till one morning as I came into my man cave I noticed she was in my recliner. She had passed. The last thing she had done out of love for me – I’m convinced – was her yearning for my presence and the recliner had plenty of that. So the last thing she had done was in her dying moments was to climb up into the recliner where she passed away.
I waited a year and now at 85, I have a new 2 yo kitty, Sammy who all things being equal will outlive me but I still miss my Rosie.
I like going over thest ioomi again
