When I was young, I was taught an alternate name for the Big Guy. One Christmas season when I was quite young (4 or 5, perhaps), we were checking out the department stores in downtown St Louis. When I spotted one of the men in red, I excitedly exclaimed, “Look, it’s the Big Fat Phony!”
At 75 yo, I go to bed every night with things undone. Up at 2:30 AM on Tues, Thurs and Sat in order to get my mtn climb in before the AZ heat kicks in. On Mon, Wed and Fri, I get to sleep until 5 AM. Stock mkt opens at 6:30 and I’m monitoring that until 1 PM. Then it’s time for catching up on email. Reading and studying time suffers. On Sun, I really get to sleep in – all the way to 7 AM. Then it’s time to shower and get to church by 9 AM. I could use a 36-hour day.
