Justin Thompson Creator

Hi, thanks for being interested in me. I created MythTickle in 2004, GoComics put me on their site in 2007. I've worked in character licensing since 1999, designing many bed and bath products with everything from Care Bears to Spider-Man. I've written and illustrated many children's books, the most recent is 'If I Gave The World My Blanket', a Peanuts book featuring Linus and published by Simon and Schuster in December of 2021. Before working as a full time illustrator and designer I was an actor and stuntman in the New York area for 12 years, doing some soap opera work, lots of Shakespeare, and got knocked-about in live stunt shows as Batman in the Batman Stunt Show at Six Flags in NJ, and as Robin Hood and other characters jousting on horseback at the New York Renaissance Festival in Tuxedo. I live a quieter and relatively pain-free life now in northern California, and teach cartooning in Tanzania each year with The Mentor Project and REACH Shirati.

I don’t usually put the Classic tag on the Christmas stories because It’s so familiar.

Please don’t post that link, I’ve made some changes since then and I’d rather people see this new version.

Nope. I liked the way they look this way better.

EXACTLY! They’re el Jefe’s reindeer. And everyone knows that creatures with cloven hooves can’t fly, that’s a “myth”.

I do love the dark over the sunshine. Sunshine stings my eyes so bad, it feels like hundreds of little spiders biting my eyes all at once. I’m greatly looking forward to visiting Scotland some dreary, beautiful Fall.
