Sometimes what we want and what is attainable are two different things….keep trying till you find your niche….where’s that music coming from, anyways?

You are as likely to write a competent first novel as someone would pick up a basketball the first time and beat a NBA player. It’s a craft and a skill that must be learned and practiced. Natural talent only goes so far, and inspiration doesn’t always blaze bright. (Writing teacher of over 30 years)

I fear anything good that I write may have been “borrowed” from god-only-knows & I’ll get sued for plagiarism.

His main problem as is with any unschooled amateurs is writing.

They spend too much on what they consider perfection than simply writing it out. Also I find that gathering information for it is fun too. But then that is just me. I bull through obstacles like today when I wasn’t enthused, yet I did write something. You can do it too.

Mr. Lemon both writes and illustrates this comic. It is his creation. And now working on Alley Oop too. One must have and use discipline to do it every day or at least enough days to get the job done. Which he does.

I’ve been writing a story (for fun) for ages. It’s been slow going, but I have made a good bit of progress during the quarantine. Onward, Weenus!
