Weenus, the only wave you would get is a wave off the stage after the knife thrower give you another close shave.
This strip is as symbolic as our nation’s coronavirus response has been shambolic.
The steering wheel, the apple, the microscope and the shopping cart are in this comic too
The little one-eyed alien in the spaceship is from “Bizarro.”
I think this and Maria Scrivan’s “Half Full” are the most subtle I’ve seen so far.
I see you got the memo.
The Whale!
Poor Worm seems embarrassed that he lost his neck ring. (At least I think that’s what happened…)
Clever way to work in the symbols, Mr. Lemon!
see Half Full by Maria Scrivan- mask, apple, fork, stirring wheel, microscope, shopping cart- all are there.
or Lio by Mark Tatulli- all are in the blob
or Reality Check by Dave Whamond
or The Big Picture by Lennie Peterson
FoxTrot by Bill Amend
Stone Soup by Jan Eliot
Even the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Dick Tracy, Dog eat Doug, Frazz, Rabbits against Magic… No, wait, nix that last one. Breaking Cat News. Zach Hill…
Many thanks Jonathan, to you and all the other cartoonists, for your wonderful tributes. Every one of you deserves a GOLD STAR for your work today.
That’s my favourite (and not just because you included, FAB Club, thanks!).
A Whalers fan, are you, Mr. Lemon? I’m enjoying the Hurricanes down here in Raleigh… ;-)
Even Dan Piraro who works on the Bizarro strip got a shout out. NICE!
