When my sister and I were about 9 and 10, our parents took us to visit an aunt and uncle in Naples, Florida. I saw a palmetto bug … Only that once, but it’s still seared in my memory. It’s a good thing that I didn’t know at the time that it’s a type of cockroach.

Those bugs are pretty big! Better use Diana Gabaldon’s latest best seller. The book was a sleeper, and you won’t mind the bug guts so much.
