I often wonder if the graffiti person who defaces public places would like it as a punishment if someone came into his room at home and sprayed it with pink paint. Maybe even his car. I think he would be upset and get angry.
Some of them could qualify as art (of a sort), although not the sort that appeals to most people. The problem is, that they do it where others HAVE to see it.

Graffiti artist. What a fancy name for a punk vandal. Do your artwork in my town you’re apt to get shot. And rightly so.
