Not being a consumer of hard liquor, I have heard of Scotch and Soda, and Scotch and Water (Grog…watered down alcohol). Beer and / or a good Cabernet Sovignon are fine for me.
Red wine is one of the only things I seldom enjoy drinking (the tannens) but I also don’t like most regular American beer, other beers that are very hoppy or an aperitif of a name I can’t remember (horrid taste). Everything else in a bottle is pretty much OK. I knew the joke was about waiting for an accident to happen.
