I’m amazed at the number of professional writers that have poor grammar. I guess part of it may be because organizations have pushed them to publish quickly so others don’t beat them, and cutbacks on the number of editors to proof read and correct.
Personally, I’d attribute her death where the blame really lay: newspaper publishers who’ve put all their copy editors on the chopping block over the last five to 10 years.
