“Terabyte me” would have been 1,044 times as bad.

With math skills like those, you better have someone do your taxes for you.

I’d have to check, but I think your off by 20 there Edcole1961.

Pretty sure its 1024 bytes to a kilobyte and so forth. Though its still early and my brain hasn’t started yet I could be wrong.

This made me curious and I looked it up: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061002101453AAlZ8lK says that “1 kilobyte (KB) is 1,024 bytes 1 MB is 1,024 kilobytes 1 gigabyte (GB) is 1,024MB, or 1,073,741,824 (1024x1024x1024) bytes. 1 terabyte (TB) is 1,024GB; 1TB is about the same amount of information as all of the books in a large library, or roughly 1,610 CDs worth of data. 1 petabyte (PB) is 1,024TB. Indiana University is now building storage systems capable of holding petabytes of data. 1 exabyte (EB) is 1,024PB. 1 zettabyte (ZB) is 1,024EB. 1 yottabyte (YB) 1,024ZB.” but also says “Source(s): sorry, forgot source”

A true IT guy would have called his problem an “I dee ten tee” error. Verbably it sounds official until you write it down as ID10T. Either that or a PEBKAC (Problem exists between keyboard and chair)…
