Man: So, what's next for you? Boy: Well, I'm enrolled in a liberal arts college where I intend to take six years to complete a four year degree, all on my parent's dime. After which I'll be singularly unprepared for any real job, so I'll move back home for the free food, free laundry and forseeable future. Man: And they say kids today have no plan. You parents must be so proud. Where are they? Boy: They're the couple in the corner weeping with joy. Man: I doubt it.
Truth from the mouth of a baby…the kid better hope the parents can pull some strings to get him a job, or he better plan on going to grad school to get a degree in something marketable. All those Classics and Russian Lit classes won’t get you far in today’s job market.
