    I paid $5.50 to see Jimi Hendrix. I thought my Dad would lose his mind when he decried of the expense. The second time Hendrix came through town it was $7.50. That was a lot of money back in the 60’s.

    ha!!!!! I say,,,1969 Fillmore West tickets =$3.00 and that is for 3 good bands 2 sets and last but not least a nice big apple chilled in a big bucket at the top of the stairs!!How would you like to see Chambers Bros,,,,the Nice(Keith Emerson),and King Crimson(Greg Lake) all for 3 bux..Good times and a contact high to boot…..

    Ah yes….I saw Jetho Tull, Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Alice Cooper….back when tickets were 4, 5, or 6 dollars :-)

    It was a big jump in price around 1976, when I saw Boz Scaggs, Fleetwood Mac, and The EAGLES at Three Rivers Stadium (first appearance by Joe Walsh as an Eagle, IIRC). For the bank-breaking sum of $20.00!
