    I took a printer in to have it fixed once, and the place I took it, rejected it. Said they could sell me a new one for less than they could repair the old one. My point? Smiting it with a hammer is costs effective, and extremely satisfying.

    @hippogriff (from yesterday)

    " And, I am hardly opposed to cursive and don’t know where you got the idea I was."

    Sorry if it came across that way. I was only trying to suggest a way that helped with the tremors for other people. Just because your body shakes doesn’t mean the brain isn’t as sharp, so I would expect you to be able to read cursive even if you can’t write it as legibly any more.

    I did this with a Sony laptop once. It was quite releasing…

    Accepted, sorry I read it that way. I would suggest not recommending treatment whose side effects are often far worse than skipping a cure. It may take me longer to type a post than when I was writing books, but I have the time (barely). No, the condition affects the hands, not the brain. My memory bank is in excellent condition, even if the retrieval system often breaks down for five seconds to five months on a specific task. The downside of having past 83.

    maybe so…but the evil gremlins you released will hang around ’til you get a new printer, and the cycle will continue…

    Yes, I did the same thing (no hammer, though, just scissors cutting the cables and my own hands breaking pieces apart) to a printer about a month ago (after kicking it hard a few times a week before that)… it still fills me with a peaceful feeling when I think about it all ! haha

    … I did have to buy a new one, though…
