I worked at a fancy restaurant and during the day people would come in and do just that. Order coffee or iced tea, take up a table for 30-40 minutes and leave a dime tip, maybe. Whoop dee doo!

And we’ve been saving some of last week’s mop water for you.

What? No Starkbucks comments. You’re getting slow people, slow!

I’m widowed, and when I eat out now and then, I leave an extra tip because I know I’m taking up space that might have been filled by two or more customers. Wait staff earn less then minimum wage!

so a tip for a cup of coffee would be…12 cents? isnt that more of an insult?

Let’s see. Cup of coffee (at most) $2. Tip at 20% 40 cents.

At Starbucks now you can just go in and sit all day and not buy anything. Cost to you nothing. Cost to Starbucks unknown!
