I always rooted for the coyote.

Wiley, spend the money on food instead of Acme products!

Ahem - Rover, you DO know that the coyote is just a dog-in-the-wild and, like the domestic dog, is a cousin to the wolf.

This should serve to make YOUR “cartoonic” allegiance a foregone conclusion!

Sometimes Red makes remarks that are out of place with his 1960’s era setting. But for him they work.

I always cheered for the coyote. I wanted to see that Road Runner end up as Wiley’s Dinner and put an end to that cartoon for once and for all. Bugs was good, but I loathed the Road Runner.

I, too, always rooted for the “Genius.” But I never wanted RR to actually be his dinner; it was way too much fun watching Wile E.’s plan’s backfire instead.
