So sad yet true. I’m trying to instill this appreciation in my kids. They’re mad at our neighbors for cutting down all their trees for the sake of redoing their landscaping.

Yes, this is the day and age of sitting inside playing video games. My kids (when I have them) will be taught about the fun things that can be done outside. Video games and t.v. are for the rainy a freezing cold winter days. I love shade trees, wish my house had more of them. :(

I worked my way through college as a tree surgeon. People pay a lot to keep their shade tree but it’s cheaper than air conditioning.
