When I was young and sneaked a peek at Dad’s what were then racy magazines, I always wondered why stuffed animals, curtains and painted jugs were always in the way of what I really wanted to see.. Back to NG.

I’m seeing only seeing 4 panels cut in halves here on GoComcs.. At “The Funnies” on Arcamax, his “privates” are covered up by the famous “censor bar” while the rest of him is “Au natural”!

I’ve been thinking about this all morning… is this a “veiled” tribute to National Banned Book Week and the censorship hubbub over “In the Night Kitchen?”

or am I reading too much into this?

Obviously not a German comic strip – they don’t believe in unnecessary censorship!
