I got toys and clothing when I was a kid. Just getting clothing is just too cruel. especially to a dog. Do not cloth your dogs - they look rediculous!

We took in a stray puppy we found wandering down the roadside on 10/16th. Was 7-lbs. of flea bitten skin & bones. Now 26-lbs. of squeaky toy fun! Four cats getting used to the idea. Local humane society wants us to keep photos of her progress.

Agree with @Santa Grog: please don’t put clothes on your dog.

I gave our daughter’s dog a toy. He tried to bury it all over the house, it was funny. He finally gave up, jumped up on my lap with the toy, lay down and went to sleep. It’s great to have your presents appreciated:-D

I’m surprised Rover didn’t offer that dog a nibble on his toy. But maybe he’s enjoying it too much to share.

    Happy Birthday to me :-)

lightenup Happy Birthday! My bd is in Dec. too. Don’t you find we get “screwed” though? I mean with bd’s so close to Christmas, or Hanukkah, and all?

Only 2 reasons for dog clothes:

Certain breeds don’t have enough fur or body fat to keep warm in cold weather. (think rescued greyhounds)

And, dogs need to wear blaze orange when in the woods during hunting season.

A raincoat can come in handy on chilly days when the rain just doesn’t break.
