My Best Friend by Red. My best friend sleeps by my side. He sleeps by my side when we're at rest. He sleeps by my side with his head on my chest. Yet when I awake I immediately find one pillow hawking pooch with his nose next to mine.
Red invites Rover into his bed, and shares a soft pillow with his fur-covered head. He’d love to give Rover his blankets and more, and hear the sweet noise of his loving dog’s snore!
I am also enjoying catfeet’s poetry – maybe you could fill in if Brian needs a day off! (not that I want to give up Brian for a day and he would still have to do the artwork)
I’ll add another “bravo” for catfeet’s poetry. I’m always a big fan of Brian’s artistry, but it’s nice to know there’s someone else among us with talent.

Our two cats always took the middle of the bed — my wife and I were welcome to sleep in the four corners!
And another thumbs-up for catfeet’s poems!
