Wow – I agree with that!

Red seems to have his priorities straight…who needs the periodic table of elements when you can contemplate the intricate joys of the old fishing hole—with your best friend by your side?

Back when I went fishing as a child, I used to catch those little perch; which they were considered by me as a big fish. Now I call them bait stealers

Time is too precious to be wasted, Red. So catch your fish and get on to the next activity. Summer vacation & childhood only last so long. Make the most of the time you’ve got.

Fishing is fun….especially blues and stripers.

Now that we have cell phones and are constantly busy or entertained, it’s been shown that we all need some downtime to daydream to be creative and solve problems.

Red is onto a good thought, don’t use a hook and no one will be the wiser about your supposed “bad luck” at whiling the hours away with your best friend.

Fishing is just an excuss to sit and do nothing.

Beats sit in the Doctor’s waiting room.

A man who spends the day dozing under shady tree by a pond is a lazy layabout.The same man with a fishing line in the water is a sportsman.

I like fish—preferably alive. :D
