Red: Oh no! I must've left my lunch on the porch when I stopped to retie my shoelace. Rover, run home and bring it here before the bus arrives! Hurry, boy, hurry! Red: Criminy! Here comes the bus now. Rover, I knew you'd come through! Thanks, buddy! Boy: Whatdya have to trade? Red: Lettuce from a sandwich... A dozen cookie crumbs... Six carrot sticks... And a partially eaten apple that someone tried to put the stem back in.
