If Red was on the opposite side of the tree than Rover, there would be a big problem. He can just unclip the leash, and unwind much easier, while hoping the squirrel doesn’t decide to scamper out of the tree. This may well have been the sneaky squirrel’s plan along.

If this is how Rover reacts to squirrels, I can only imagine him with cats!

Love it – but can’t figure out how Rover got himself tied up with Red :)

Yet you still manage to look adorable!

Rover, you are not looking too smart right now. Then again, Red let go chase that squirrel.

For a minute I thought the squirrel tied both of them to the tree.

How did both of them get inside the leash? Who was running around the tree?

The first thing that I thought of was the kite eating tree from Peanuts.
