The replacement animals are sure on a roll.

And, armadillos have been known to carry the leprosy bacterium. Ugh!!!

I wonder how long a leave of absence Rover will be taking?Just how many animals will we be reviewing, anyway?

Well, I know Rover will be back, probably Sunday or Monday. Love my little darlings forever!

I think it’s a nice little side trip from the usual. Gives Brian an excuse to draw something a little different, as well, and it’s funny. Two thumbs up!

I noticed he didn’t try out a cat. Brian can’t be that cruel.

Only the South American three-banded armadillo rolls up. The North American (Dysapus novencintus) runs or digs in. If almost caught, they jump straight up, let the predator run under them and take off in another direction. Unfortunately, jumping up puts them at the level of a vehicle bumper rather than passing harmlessly over them.

An armadillo might be cute if it did that.
