Good Humor Ice Cream

Looks like a pretty upscale 1950s neighborhood…

If they’re regulars, why didn’t the guy stop and wait? (By the way: when I was a kid in Chicago, we had 3 different ice cream trucks come through at 3 different times of the day!)

I heard the other day that some people are complaining that the ice cream man is racist because some people have changed the lyrics of the song, Turkey in the straw, and used racist lyrics. Of course some musician is recommending his own song and the fact that he’ll get royalties is totally coincedental.

Note the period correct roof-top antennas on a couple of the houses.
