The same is true for Beetle Bailey. Poor guys, no one has been promoted in 70 years.

Oh no, that means that Red is about to face a pretty big disappointment because it’s about to be cancelled! And TNG won’t come along for another 18 years!

I’ve been watching this instead of inflicting the political season on my brain. I’ve actually seen a few episodes I don’t remember or missed during the original airing. Sad to say I’m in the third and last season now.

If only there had been 2 more years.

Star Trek ended in 1969, the year the Brady Bunch debuted. There have been many Brady Bunch references, so the strip is set no earlier than the fall of ’69.

I love me some “Star Trek.”

Message for Red: Too much TV makes a dull boy.

All these decades of Star Trek reruns, and I’ve only seen the Tribbles episode once!

During the run of the show, didn’t Spock go from being called Lieutenant Commander to full Commander?

Red’s just a few years younger than me! Started watching Star-trek in NJ, when it ended, was in high school in TX. Wow, what memories!
