Possibly the Daily Planet. Clark Kent was a “mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper.”
What a good boi!
1958-62 I had a paper route delivering the NY Times… some Sunday editions weighed in at 8 pounds per copy, slinging them was not an option.
Hey now, as kid it was always a BIG deal to go from JV to Varsity.
Rover is the perfect big-time manager!
Years ago when we lived in the city, my son had a paper route in a high-rise apartment building—he just dropped the newspapers at each apartment’s door. Not only was he warm and dry during inclement weather, the tenants were great tippers!
I was a paperboy for the Evening Star in D.C. I could fold a newspaper and sling it from street. Occasionally a screen door got a whole.
Only if ‘Red and Rover’ is in it, lol!
The days of newsprint and sometimes inky fingers (from touching actual pages) seems incredibly long ago.
Rover, you’re the BEST !!!
Might have to wait until Red is older, bigger and stronger. The New York Times is a heavy newspaper.
Just be glad you still have a daily paper.
Sorry, but we no longer do home deliveries.
