richard's poor almanac here comes santa claus by richard thompson amid tight security, santa claus arrived at malls everywhere today. santa: ho ho ho. the press was kept at a distance as aides hustled the jolly old elf from one public appearance to another. press: what about allegations that you've sold a list of who's been naughty or nice to the chinese? who's the president of india? are you real? santa: ho ho ho. many bystanders were overcome by feelings of joy and longing. kid 1: i want that thing i saw on tv! kid 2: just bring me a movie tie-in. kid 3: something pokemonesque oss do not cross do n others weren't so sure. man: those damn elves towed my car!
I feel sure Santa’s PR guy will see to it that the complainer is compensated for the temporary loss of his car. Maybe give him a gratis candy cane….
