Rip Haywire by Dan Thompson for April 23, 2012
Transcript:
Rip and co. stare down the barrel of an angry gun! Rip: Don't shoot, bub, we're just lost. Man: Sorry, folks, I thought you were those looney villagers. I moved outta town once they started worshipin' that rotund feline. Popokitty: Mew. Rip: He was probably talking about Garfield. The local paper recently picked it up!
Does anyone still enjoy Garfield after thirty years? To say it’s lame is an understatement. Why is it still around? And why do I get the unpleasant feeling it will be around long after Jim Davis is gone, indeed, if he even has anything to do with it today?
