Apparently, RIP’s ability to monologue somewhere has short-circuited.

Rip is getting as dumb as Alley Oop.

Whenever he’s in a pancake house, he can’t stop with the recaps.

So based on the apparent amount of time between the panels being short, like seconds, in P2 is he jamming the whole stack of pancakes in his mouth? Since the plate is empty in P3.

Rip needs to learn to replace those little directional fingers on his word balloons with strings of bubbles.

I’m having some difficulties with semantic. “Immortal”? “Ex-Husband”? When did those two items become canon? I thought the first was more-or-less a given, what with him sharing the strip’s name and all and his general “difficult to kill-ness,” but did Breezy actually divorce the lunkhead?
