I am amazed at how cartoonists can take relatively simple lines and curves and make such emotive pictures, Dicey’s facial expression in the second panel is as expressive as anything in the old “Dick Tracey”, “Brenda Starr” or “Winnie Winkle” strips, the drawing style is simpler, but the expressiveness is just as stylish.
