Yep, Clark is right, it was Jackie Brentson and the Delta Cats. Piano work by Ike Turner.Used to play it all the time at a radio station way back when.Age is getting the better part of my memory but I recall one of the lines as “going down the corner gonna pick up a fifth, everyone in the car gonna take a l’il nip”
