To celebrate its 109 year history, Spanish football club Real Madrid played a game against a team of 109 children from Guangzhou, China, and won 2-1! Cuckoos in the United Kingdom fly more than 3000 miles, crossing Europe, the Mediterranean and the Sahara desert to winter in central Africa! Andre Lumboga of Batam, Indonesia, left his 9 dogs unfed for 2 weeks during a vacation and when he returned home on Aug. 31, 2011- his starving dogs attacked and ate him!

There’s so much horrible news out there, I guess I really didn’t need to read about the dogs in the morning “funnies”, where I go just for a little chuckle. I know, no one is forcing me to keep this on my line-up, but 90% of the time, it is interesting.
