Thousands of people live among the dead as squatters in the North Cemetery of the Philippines capital, Manila! Gonzalo Guerrero, a Spanish conquistador who was shipwrecked in 1511, came to live with a Mayan tribe, joining them and serving as a military advisor against the Spanish! No fair! No fair! No fair! In early November 2011 Earl Beatty Public School in Toronto, Canada, banned soccer balls, footballs, baseballs, and tennis balls from the premises- citing safety concerns!
Or, how about the Chicago fiasco of the 70s? The mayor mandated that anyone working for the city of Chicago had to live in the city limits, not the suberbs. Then, there was busing for racial balance. Add to it the oil shortage, and the government asking people to not do any unnecessary driving. So now, we have Joe, forced to move to keep his job, kids being bused to another school he didn’t particularly like, and not being able to take the family anywhere because the gas was being used by the buses.Out of curiosity, can anyone say they benefited from busing for racial equality?
