Holy writing! Philip Patterson, of New York, took 4 years to copy the entire King James Bible by hand! Turkey vultures have been used to detect leaks in long-distance gas pipelines- they are attracted by the smell of an additive which smells like carrion! You really can get a broken heart- Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy is a painful weakening of the heart muscle caused by emotional distress.
I have a replica of the printed 1830 (first edition) Book of Mormon; it has 590 pages. The translation of the Gold Plates (through the gift and power of God) took Joseph Smith, Jr. three years. Why so long? Persecution, lost 116 pages, but mostly persecution. Rant all you want, anti-Mormons, it ain’t gonna stop someone, both regular Mormon and someone investigating The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, from having a personal testimony. Anyway, I’d like to hear how long it would take Mr. Patterson to manually copy the Book of Mormon.
