According to a recent UK study, it takes 30 phone calls, 37 emails or 163 text messages for couples to fall in love! The 11th century physician Ali Ibn Isa of Iraq recommended strapping a dead mole to the head to cure a headache! In the 1930s, American tank engineer J. Walter Christie experimented with winged tanks that would drop from an airplane!

Christie’s tank designs were rejected here, but bought by the Russians. They started improving them, then redesigned it to create the very successful T-34 that helped them whip the Nazis!

Tanks share aerodynamic properties with bricks, but then so did the Space Shuttles and they still worked out to be a pretty good gliders.
