Ripley's Believe It or Not! Pope Francis once worked as a nightclub bouncer. The Curtiss-Wright air car, an early hovercraft, was designed in 1959 as a family car. WHOOOOSSHH The macrotermes bellicosus queen termite can grow to over 4 inches in length, hundreds of times larger than the king, and lay 40,000 eggs per day!
I remember when there was going to be an air car in an Elkhart, Indiana parade, but it blew so much dirt in every direction that it was put back on the truck and sent back. It was like it went immediately from the drawing board, which by the way was still in the U.S., to the production…without testing.
