Ripley's Believe It or Not! Tom Denniss of Australia completed a 16,300-mile run around the world is 20 months in September 2013 - he ran a marathon every day for 622 consecutive days. The U.S. army experimented with the aerocycle, a one-man helicopter, in the 1950s. The ancient Egyptians treated wounds effectively with moldy bread - which may have had a similar effect to penicillin.
