    There is film footage of GI’s having a snowball fight during the Battle Of The Bulge WWII..I can’t even imagine..considering how my dad who was there..and reading his letters.. telling us all he wished for Christmas was a dry pair of socks..

    Someone said as creatures get larger, the strength of muscle increases in proportion to their cross sectional area, but the mass of muscle increase in proportion to the cube of the length of the creature. So, larger creatures can “lift” heavier objects, but the ratio of the maximum they can lift to their body mass is less.

    Part of it is the impulse [time] width of the impact. Just because you can push a car doesn’t mean that you should stand in front of it when it’s moving.
