Chloephobia is an irrational fear of newspapers! Check me out!! Tarantulas can lose legs when they molt and shed their exoskeleton, but they usually grow back by the time they molt again! The octopus stinkhorn mushroom is so named because it looks like an octopus and stinks of rotten flesh, in order to attract the flies that spread its spores.

Chloepobia will be wiped out eventually.

The only thing about newspapers that other news outlets lack is the comics page. Now, if only there were some other way to read the same comics, we’d have no use for newspapers at all.

I used to have to drive across the West Texas desert to get to the airport in El Paso. Often times I would see these large black things crossing the highway. I’d be driving 80 or 90 mph and see them far off in the distance. As I got closer they’d get bigger and bigger. I always wondered how big the tarantula had to be to be noticed at that speed and as far away as I would see them.
