On May 6, 1892, a Major League Baseball game between Cincinnati and Boston was postponed due to sun! Rain that falls from the sky does not always reach the ground. It's called Virga. What man, born a King, became president of the United States? Gerald R Ford- he was born Leslie Lynch King Jr.

Can we even imagine a President King? (Where does virga commonly occur, in the Amazon rainforest?)

Gerald Ford served in the U.S. Navy during World War 2. He was aboard the light carrier Monterey during a massive Pacific typhoon in December of 1944, and narrowly avoided going overboard.

So, “virga”…Now we have a name for what’s wrong with “The Trickle-Down Theory”…

The first one that comes to mind involved the classic band leader Mitch Miller. The Wikipedia article that I saw had him born in the 1400s and leading a satanic cult. I decided to clean that one up the best I could, with what little I could find. Judging by the update log, it had been like that for a few months at least…not that many people go looking for Mitch Miller…
I have also seen some politicians’ entries vandalized, but I guess they do have some people protecting that now.
The “world’s oldest people” one has a lock on it now, because someone was always adding some alleged 150-year-old swami or something. But the people in charge now, the Gerontology Research Group, are nearly as bad. They eliminate most of the copy, opting almost exclusively for their own lists.

Sounds like interleague games were played back in 1892.

I always felt there was something basically wrong with Ford.
