I ended up looking online for an actual photograph of this deformed, stillborn lamb. It is not nearly as “human” looking as the cartoon above suggests. The actual photographs show it much more obviously a deformed lamb. It is a case of a developmental disorder in which the mother of the lamb was infected with a virus capable of causing deformities in growth of her embryos. It has some parallels with the deformities that can occur in pregnancies a human female can experience after exposure to the Zeke virus.
