Duh..is Clem short for Clementine, or is Clem just Clem? (not that it matters, just curious)

Now HERE’S a kid I could do without. I’ll take Peekaboo’s antics over the hogging Clem does. Aunt or not, I wouldn’t keep kowtowing to him like Rose does; in fact, I think I’d let Vicki loose on him once. And once is probably all it would take!

It appears from the way things went today that Clem has inherited not only his mom’s red hair but also her sponging habits. (In fairness, I’d have to say that Mom may be totally unaware of how Clem’s phone call went. )

Clem is short for Clement…..or Clemopolis for those of Greek ancestry.

We rarely see Clem’s parents. I wonder if he takes after them?

It looks as if Rose has already been ‘left hung out to dry’ …‘blowing in the wind’, even!

Rose should go and ACCIDENTALLY forget all the stuff that Clem requested.

“Oh My Darling, Clementine” was a song written in the 1880’s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oh_My_Darling,_Clementine My mom used to sing it a lot. I have a neat 52-year-old ceramic cat named Clementine that I keep in the bathroom. I don’t know of any Clementines other than that, though one of my husband’s friends has a brother named Clem.
